Ms. Siqi Li is a first year Master’s student in Cell and Developmental Biology at UBC. She received her BSc in Natural Science of Biology from Zhejiang University (Hangzhou, China) in 2017. Her undergraduate thesis focused on the mechanism of caspase-1 regulation by SENP1 in human umbilical vein endothelial cells towards the understanding of atherosclerosis pathogenesis. For her Master’s study, Siqi is investigating the pathogenesis of glaucoma and the involvement of inflammasome activity.
