Katerina joined the Matsubara lab in May 2020 as a FLEX student. She is continuing with a Summer Student Research Project (SSRP) funded by the Faculty of Medicine. Katerina graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Combined Honours degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry and a Masters in Chemistry.
