Ho-Young is a second year undergraduate student at UBC, studying Microbiology and Immunology. Under the supervision of Dr. Joanne Matsubara, he started working as a lab volunteer at the Eye Care Centre in September 2016 and has learned to section paraffin tissues. He also loves to volunteer in science outreach and tutor high school students, in addition to being an avid acoustic guitarist in his spare time. He aspires to pursue a career in medicine.
