Alison is a lab volunteer working under the supervision of Dr. Joanne Matsubara. She is currently a third year undergraduate student majoring in Microbiology and Immunology at the University of British Columbia. She has helped with multiple research projects in the lab, learning experimental techniques in protein biology, confocal microscopy and cell culture. She hopes to pursue a career in Ophthalmology. In her spare time, she enjoys taking hikes around British Columbia.
